A-Z Blog Challenge: “Y” is for Yuletide Carols

A-Z Y 2

With Christmas only fifteen days from today, we’ve been listening to our favorite Christmas songs.  From the silly to the serious the season is not the same without them.  Instead of writing about my favorites, I wanted to share them with you.  Enjoy!

One of my all-time favorites is “O Holy Night”.  No matter who sings it, I love each and every version.

Another favorite is “The Little Drummer Boy”.  Recently I heard a new version, five people outdoors singing acapella.  It’s beautiful and breathtaking and worth listening to.

Of course there are the silly favorites.  “Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer” which changes the reason for the season a bit, but all in fun nonetheless.

And another, the classic version of “The Twelve Days of Christmas” sung by Bob and Doug McKenzie (Dave Thomas and Rick Moranis).

And back to one more traditional classic Christmas songs, we can’t forget Nat King Cole singing the “The Christmas Song.”

Merry Christmas to those who follow my blog.  I appreciate your comments and the time you take to read my posts.
